(THIS IS A MUST-READ FOR ANY CANDIDATE SITTING FOR THE CALIFORNIA BAR EXAM!)
The State Bar of California has posted a 9-page outline covering the new subjects that may be tested on and after the July 2007 exam.
The subject areas are:
Business Associations (formerly Corporations)
Civil Procedure (now covers California as well as FRCP; formerly only FRCP)
Evidence (now covers California Rules of Evidence as well as FRE; formerly only FRE)
To download the 9-page PDF outline click on the link below:

Thanks so much! I went to law school in NC, so this (and any other CA bar info) is extremely helpful!

Chirnese:
A bit more… The July 2007 exam was very unusual for several reasons.
First, it was the initial roll-out of new state subjects. The subject tested in July was Agency, so it’s unlikely to be tested again for several exams.
Second, the July exam essays focused on Multistate subjects. I suspect that the next few essay exams will be heavy with California subjects. It’s a guess, but it seems likely given the unusual July focus on Multistate subjects.
Good luck!
