The Oregon Bar pass rate increased to 75% for the February 2007 administration of the test. This is the highest pass rate since before 1999 (online records only go back to 1999).
In February, 2007 First Time Takers had an 83% pass rate; Repeaters had a 66% pass rate.

An anonymous blogger is alleged to be the publisher of 41 questions taken from one of the two 2006 MBE administrations.
Attorneys for the NCBE have issued subpoenas to Google and Earthlink to uncover the identity of the blogger, who put the questions on the Internet within hours of the test.

Georgia Stays in the ABA-or-Die Camp

Wisconsin Bar Prez want to eliminate Dipoma Privilege

Steven Levine, the president of the Wisconsin Bar wants to eliminate the “Diploma Privilege” that permits graduates of the state’s two ABA-acredited schools to immediately become lawyers upon graduation. Bar Exam? Not for those grads, unless Levine gets his way.
